The Town of Boulder Junction’s Town Park Board and Playground Committee are announcing a “Basket Raffle Fundraiser” on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 3-8PM to be held at Aqualand Ale House on 10450 Main St, in Boulder Junction.  Save the date!

The committee is currently looking for donations and raffle baskets from businesses throughout the Vilas County area.  No item is too small! Basket donations drop off locations are: Acorn Lodge in Boulder Junction or Achilles Foot & Ankle Clinic in Woodruff. Contact Sara at 317-797-1779 for raffle questions.

Breanna Miner, Aqualand owner along with her husband, Taylor, said, “Aqualand had been looking for a way to help support the final stages of the playground fundraising effort. We enthusiastically support this fundraiser!”

This event is the town’s largest winter fundraiser for the Community Playground project, with less than $30,000 to go, we are in the home stretch for reaching its final goal of $300,000!

“We are hoping this event will bring us over the top in our playground fundraising,” notes Laura Bertch, Town Supervisor and Co-Chair of the Playground Committee. “Donations* for the playground outside of the raffle are encouraged, as there are still a few equipment pieces that are available for naming”, adds Bertch.

The event on February 4th is $25 per person and includes an ‘All-You-Can-Eat’ pizza buffet with salad and pretzel bites. Lemonade and water are included in the price. Beer, wine and soda are additional as are the raffle tickets.

Multiple raffles are being handled by the Boulder Junction Lions Club on behalf of the Playground Committee. Raffle prizes will be showcased in the west room of Aqualand Ale House, including a 1/2 day guided fishing trip, 2 night hotel stay and gift certificate package.  Proceeds from the dinner and raffle will benefit the Boulder Junction Community Playground project. You do not need to be present to win.
