Winter Park offers sledding, ice skating, cross country ski trails, and snowshoeing plus the use of the warming house and lodge: Our addition of the “Winter Park” facility transformed the park into a winter wonderland with the sledding hill, ice skating rink, lodge & warming house which enhances community enjoyment during the winter season. Included in this area are short trails for walking year-round and cross country skiing, snowshoeing in the winter. Currently you may follow the .8 mile walking trail and read a book to your children on the “Book Walk”! (Moving to the Library & Playground area summer of 2024 as a permanent book walk.)
