Instructions and Sign Up for Playground Community Install

Shifts Start May 17 through June 3

The time has arrived and the community playground is ready for our residents and friends of Boulder Junction to come together and build! After the excavation and prep work to the 4 areas the playgrounds will be located, the installation will be done over a period of about 3 weeks. Project Manager Dennis Duke, working in coordination with our town manager & crews along with Doug Reimer from Gerber Leisure, has provided the dates, times, tasks starting May 17 and ending early June.


  • Level
  • Large buckets
  • 3/8” socket wrench
  • Hammers/Mallets
  • Ladders
  • Tape measure
  • Shovel
  • Hard time rakes
  • Wheel barrows



  • Sign up as individuals or teams
  • Sign up for a specific job, or randomly get assigned the day you come
  • Be flexible. The project manager may need to move you to another job
  • Certain tasks may be planned more that 1 day. You are not required to come the following day to complete
  • Please commit to a minimum of 4 hours
  • Wear appropriate clothing for weather and the job. Bring work gloves
  • If you have any tools on the lists, bring them just in case
  • Be early for shift for a safety briefing and work plan discussion
