Tall Pines Disc Golf Project

18 hole Disc Golf Course

At the October 29th Town Board meeting, the Disc Golf Project was approved for Boulder Junction. It will be an 18 hole course, designed by Mike Kobach, located behind the Community Center. More info to come. We will begin fundraising very soon. Hole sponsorships and Bench Sponsors are available to all area businesses, residents, friends, etc. Target opening is summer of 2025.

The proposal is to build an 18 hole Disc Golf Course on the Town-Owned land directly behind (to the East) of the Community Center. The course would not utilize State land.

Current cost estimate is $24,000.

Proposed Course Location & Layout

With the aid and guidance of Mike Kobach (retired Professional Disc Golf player, and experienced Course Designer), we have scouted the acreage behind the Community Center and found it to be more than adequate for a challenging mid-level Disc Golf Course.  We have also laid out (with Flags) a first draft proposed course layout.

The proposed course location is ideally positioned near existing town amenities, The Lion’s Outdoor Pavilion, Community Center, Public Restrooms, and ample parking.  It is also contiguous with our Sports Park & Recreation Area, making it a multi-function outdoor recreation destination for a family.

No Funds have been raised or committed at this time.  However, fundraising would be accomplished primarily through ‘Hole Sponsorships’ and ‘Tee Bench” sponsorships.  We would also seek grants and donations as appropriate.

Construction would be primarily volunteer effort.  The Course Design effort is being supplied at no cost.
