Boulder Junction Winter Park : Ice Report

  • Thursday, February 26, 2026

With the return of colder temperatures, our volunteers, working alongside the Town crew, have successfully rehabilitated the Ice Rink. Their work over the past several days has restored the surface to a safe and functional condition.

The Ice Rink will reopen on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and will remain operational as long as weather permits. We will continue to monitor temperatures closely and maintain the surface as conditions allow.

Please be aware that the northwest and northeast corners of the rink have been coned off. These areas remain very rough and are not suitable for skating. We ask all visitors to respect the cones and avoid those sections for your safety.

Unfortunately, the Glide Skating Ribbon is beyond repair for this season. Ground frost loss and prior surface damage have made further rehabilitation impractical.

For everyone’s safety, we continue to strongly encourage the use of helmets and wrist guards. Those choosing to wear protective gear are noticed and appreciated.

Thank you for your continued support of Winter Park and our volunteer crews.
