Boulder Junction Winter Park : Ice Report

Steadily increasing temps with forecasted highs of 23 on both Saturday and Sunday (excellent temps for skating). Ice conditions have improved markedly and hope to have superb conditions this weekend.

A huge thanks to Dennis, the Town Chairman, and the Town crew, Gary and Ryan, for setting us up with a power brush. On Tuesday, Ryan power brushed both the Glide and the rink with excellent results especially considering both the rink and Glide had an embedded crust of snow on them. This addition will be a huge help in the ice maintenance.

Also, today we did extensive Zamboning to further smooth out the Glide and are pleased to report that the ice cracks in the rink have been filled and the rink is in great shape.

Can not emphasize enough the importance of wearing a helmet and wrist guards.
